The O Licence Awareness Training course, commonly referred to as OLAT, is a comprehensive one-day program designed for Directors, Restricted Licence holders, and individuals who are actively engaged in transport operations. This course is specifically tailored to enhance your understanding of the legal commitments associated with managing an operator licence. By attending this course, you will gain valuable insights into the obligations and responsibilities involved. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate, demonstrating to the Traffic Commissioner that you have participated in a suitable and recognised training program.

WWolf has OLAT course is approved by JAUPT, delegates will receive 7 hours of driver CPC credit, free of charge. There are separate courses for haulage and passenger operators.

The course covers the following subjects:

• Managing your operator licence
• Managing drivers’ hours and associated records
• Managing the vehicle, maintenance and associated records
• Driver licencing
• Operator Compliance Risk Score
• Bridge strikes

At the end of the OLAT course, delegates will receive a certificate, which is accepted by the Traffic Commissioner as proof of suitable training.

Cost - Sitting an online OLAT is a more cost effective way to attend the course. Prices start from £150 including VAT.
